Anastasia Beverly Hills is very well known for their range of brow products. Next to the Brow Wiz the Dipbrow Pomade is an extremely hyped item.
I had high expectations for this product since I have heard so many people gush about it. The pomade comes in 8 different colors (blonde, taupe, auburn, medium brown, soft brown, dark brown, chocolate and ebony). I have light hair so I chose the blonde shade.
The websites description of the product says:
Creamy, waterproof brow color ideal for defining and sculpting precise, smudge-free brows. Use with Brush #12 for a completely smooth, effortless application.
I didn’t buy the #12 brush as I simply use a regular angled brush to apply the product. The pomade has a very nice and creamy consistency (similar to gel eyeliner) so it’s is very easy to control and also buildable (good for natural looking brows as well as heavy brows).
The main advantage of the Dipbrow Pomade is that it’s absolutely waterproof. With this product you won’t have to worry a single second about ’smudging‘ eyebrows (not even if you accidentally touch them!). Furthermore „a little bit goes a long way“ – you literally only need one very gentle dip into the pot for each brow. I am sure this tiny bit of pomade will last me a lo(ooo)ng while, which makes it worth the price tag.
Fact: I totally understand the hype and recommend this product. Anastasia Beverly Hills is not that easy to get in Germany. I bought my Dipbrow Pomade for about 18€ on Beauty Bay.com (on any other site that ships to the EU you’ll pay way more). The shipment to Germany was free and took about 3 weeks.
